DealzAway earns money when readers click affiliate links and buy. That creates an incentive we take seriously, so this page explains the rules we hold ourselves to.
How we order what you see
- Right now, deal listings are ordered by the size of the discount against the merchant's listed regular price. They are not ordered by commission.
- Comparison tables use specifications and prices published by the manufacturer or vendor. We do not claim hands-on testing unless a page says exactly what was tested and how.
- As we add scored rankings, each one will publish its criteria, weights and sources, plus the date its facts were last checked.
Commissions never change rankings
Affiliate commission rates are not an input to any listing order or score. A merchant paying more, or paying anything at all, does not move it up.
Sponsored placements
We may sell clearly labelled "Sponsored" placements in the future. They will appear apart from ranked lists, will be marked as paid, and will never alter a score, rank or verdict.
Reviews, ratings and testing
We do not invent, buy or edit customer reviews, and we do not present ratings or testing we have not carried out. Where AI tools help us research or draft content, a person reviews it before it is published.
